An Average of 4 Raining Stars
I had a hard time with the first book and it took me awhile to get used to the author writing in present tense and to boot - also in 3rd person. It took me awhile but I got used to....until that point though - I missed what was going on the story because I just couldn't get into a steady groove while reading. Not only did this take away from the story but it also took away the connection to the characters.
So now the story is flowing and I'm really getting into the whole Raina and Kas thing along with going up against Raina's past with the human trafficking.
This is a story of love, healing, action and suspense. By the time I got used to the author's writing - I was freakin hooked! I tried to put myself in Raina's shoes and realized that she was one tough cookie to endure her past and come out fighting in the present!
